Mixon Farms Wedding Photographer & Videographer
We have been photographing weddings at The Pavilion at Mixon Farms since 2016, more than 40 of them, and we are close partners with Manatee County Explore and Play, the department that runs Mixon Farms today. We were honored with the First Harvest Vendor award at the property’s 2026 grand reopening. Few teams know this land, and everything it has been through, the way we do.
Mixon Farms started in 1939 as a small fruit stand in Bradenton. When the family sold the last 39 acres in 2025, Manatee County stepped in to buy the property instead of a developer, keeping it open and green for generations of couples to come. The classic ceremony spot is the white gazebo by the koi pond, framed by a rock waterfall and lush gardens, the image most couples picture when they think of this venue. A palm-lined arbor strung with lights sits just off the garden path, one of our favorite formal photo spots on the property.
A note on social media: The Pavilion at Mixon Farms’ social media accounts were not turned over to Manatee County as part of the sale, so Manatee County Explore and Play has no access to or control over them. For anything related to booking, hours, or current happenings at Mixon Farms, please reach out to Manatee County directly rather than through the pavilion social accounts.
Photography and Videography, Together
Every wedding we shoot has two photographers on the ground, always. Bill covers the bride and Rachel covers the groom, so both sides of your morning get told in one chronological gallery. Add our lead cinematographer Jo to the day and your wedding gets captured in two formats instead of one.

Most couples marry at the white gazebo by the koi pond, framed by a rock waterfall and lush gardens. It’s the image most people picture when they think of this venue.
Beyond the gazebo and koi pond, the property has a lot to offer: the Tunnel of Love, the butterfly garden, walking trails, and stretches of bamboo and lush vegetation throughout. A palm-lined arbor strung with lights sits just off the garden path too, one of our favorite formal photo spots at Mixon Farms.
