The Basics

Booking, pricing, and everything you need before you sign.

Yes. Ying Multimedia is a registered business in the state of Florida through SunBiz. We carry liability insurance up to one million dollars and are happy to provide a certificate of insurance to your venue upon request.
Never. When you book us, you have our full attention for your entire wedding day. We do not double book, we do not rush to another event, and we do not hand you off mid-day. Your wedding is the only one we are focused on.
Yes, always. Our contract protects both you and us. It outlines exactly what is included in your package, payment terms, cancellation and rescheduling policies, and what happens in the event of unforeseen circumstances. If a photographer offers to work without a contract, walk away.
Our retainer is non-refundable. It exists because we turn away other couples the moment we hold your date. If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate your new date based on availability. Full details are outlined in your contract.
To secure your date, we require a 20% retainer of your total invoice. The remaining balance is due on your wedding day. We accept Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp. Credit card payments through those platforms are welcome with a 3% processing fee.
After an initial meeting, we will hold your date for up to 7 days. If another couple inquires about the same date, we will notify you and give you 12 hours to secure your booking before we release the date. We will never pressure you, but we also cannot hold a date indefinitely.
In 15 years, we have never missed a wedding. But we plan for the unexpected. Because we operate as a team with associates and a network of trusted photographers, we are never in a position where your day goes uncovered. If something catastrophic happened, we would have someone there who knows our standard and our workflow. We take this responsibility seriously.
Yes, within Florida. We serve couples across the greater Sarasota, Tampa, Bradenton, and Central Florida region. Travel within our standard coverage area is included. The general boundaries are Brooksville to the north, Daytona to the east, St. Lucie to the south, and Naples to the west. Reach out and we will confirm whether your venue falls within our range.

Who's Behind the Camera

Meet the people who will be with you on your wedding day.

That depends on the package you choose. Our Founders packages are shot by Bill and Rachel personally. Our Associates packages are shot by Mariah and James, our in-house associate team who were trained by us at real weddings.
Yes. Mariah and James are our in-house associate photography team. Unlike most associate programs where photographers are found independently and sent out alone, Mariah and James were trained by Bill and Rachel from the ground up at real weddings across Sarasota, Bradenton, and Tampa. They shoot with our equipment, work within our workflow, and every image they deliver is backed by the Ying Multimedia standard. Learn more at ying-multimedia.com/associate-wedding-photographers
A second shooter is a second photographer who covers your day simultaneously from a different angle or location. All our packages offer two lead photographers for the duration of the event.
Absolutely. Love is love and we are here for all of it. We have photographed couples from all backgrounds and we bring the same passion, care, and creativity to every wedding we shoot.
Yes. Jo is our lead cinematographer and heads the Ying Multimedia cinematography division. He handles filming and editing in-house so your wedding film matches the look and feel of your photos. Videography can be added to any photography package. Learn more at ying-multimedia.com/sarasota-wedding-videographer

Your Wedding Day

What to expect when the day actually arrives.

Each photographer carries two cameras at all times so we never have to stop shooting to change lenses or deal with equipment failure. On a typical wedding day, that is four cameras actively covering your day plus a fifth body in the bag as a backup. We also bring multiple lighting equipment to handle any venue or lighting condition.
We shoot primarily with Sony full frame cameras including the Sony A9 and Sony A7 series with Sony G and G Master lenses.
We shoot in the rain. Some of our favorite photos have come from rainy wedding days and we have stood in the rain long enough to send cameras in for repairs. The only condition that will cause us to pause outdoor coverage is lightning and thunder. Rain is not a reason to cancel portraits, it is an opportunity.
Yes, and strongly. When guests have phones and tablets raised during your ceremony, they block our line of sight to the moments that matter most. An unplugged ceremony means we can capture your guests' genuine reactions, your partner seeing you for the first time, and the emotion of your vows without a sea of screens in the way. We are happy to help you word the announcement if you need it.
For family formals, yes and we encourage it. A clear list of the family groupings you want ensures we do not miss anyone important. For creative and candid coverage, we prefer to work organically. Overly prescriptive shot lists tend to pull us out of the documentary mindset that makes our work look the way it does. Trust us on the moments and give us a clear list for the formals.
We get to know you before your wedding day. We encourage engagement sessions for exactly this reason. By the time your wedding day arrives, you have already worked with us, you know how we move and communicate, and the camera feels a lot less intimidating. On the day itself, we keep things relaxed and conversational. We are not the kind of photographers who bark directions. We guide, we laugh, we create a comfortable environment and the photos reflect that.
Yes. Night formals are some of the most dramatic and beautiful images from a wedding day and we will not leave before they happen. We have stayed until midnight for the right shot. When we say all day, we mean all day.
Yes. A well-built timeline is one of the most important things we can do together before your wedding day. We will work with you to make sure there is enough time built in for portraits, family formals, and the moments you care about most. A bad timeline is one of the most common reasons couples end up with gaps in their coverage and we take it seriously.
We have shot at most venues across Sarasota, Tampa, Bradenton, and Central Florida. You can search our blog for your venue to see past work. If we have not shot there before, we make it a point to attend your rehearsal when possible and research the venue in advance so we arrive knowing the light, the layout, and the best spots for portraits.
We do not, but we have a network of trusted vendors who do. Reach out and we will point you in the right direction.
Yes. We carry a liability policy for up to one million dollars. We are happy to coordinate directly with your venue and send them a certificate of insurance. Just let us know in advance and we will take care of it.

How We Work

Our style, our approach, and what makes us different.

Editorial and documentary. We capture your day as it unfolds, not as a series of poses. We are storytellers first. The details, the glances, the in-between moments that you will not remember but will be grateful you have. We are also not afraid to get creative when the moment calls for it. We have climbed trees, gotten chest deep in the Gulf, and laid face down in the dirt for the right angle. Our goal is images that look like they belong in a magazine and feel like they belong to you.
Our Premium and Epic Founders packages are truly unlimited. We start when you start and end when you leave the venue. We have started as early as 6am and finished as late as midnight. Our other packages have defined hour counts, all of which are clearly outlined on our price card.
Yes, and we recommend them for every couple. An engagement session is not just about getting additional photos. It is about getting comfortable with us before your wedding day. Couples who have done an engagement session with us are visibly more relaxed in front of the camera on their wedding day and the photos show it. Engagement sessions can be added to any package.

Your Photos

Delivery, editing, backups, and everything after the wedding.

We deliver 3 to 6 sneak peek photos the same night as your wedding, usually within a few hours of the event ending. Your full gallery is delivered within 8 to 12 weeks. During busy seasons with back to back weddings, it may extend to 10 to 14 weeks. We will always keep you updated on where things stand.
We do not put a cap on the number of images we deliver. You will receive every photo that meets our quality standard. For a full wedding day that typically means several hundred edited images. We would rather give you more than enough than leave you wondering why a moment is missing.
Yes. Every image we deliver is digitally corrected, color graded, and print ready up to 20x30. We edit in-house using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. We do not outsource our editing to third parties because the look of your photos is inseparable from how we shoot them. We also remove distractions in post such as exit signs and fire extinguishers when they appear in the background of key shots.
We do not include RAW files in our packages. RAW files are unedited and unfinished. The edited images we deliver are the final product and reflect the standard we stand behind. Providing RAW files would be like a chef handing you the ingredients instead of the meal.
Every camera we use records to two memory cards simultaneously so there is always an instant backup the moment a photo is taken. All images are backed up to multiple drives the same night as your wedding. We do not reuse memory cards until your full gallery has been delivered, meaning your photos exist in at least three places at once throughout the editing process.
We do not delete photos, but we guarantee online gallery hosting for a minimum of two years. Equipment eventually fails so we strongly encourage you to download your full gallery and back it up in multiple places as soon as you receive it.
Absolutely. Our packages include full download and print rights for personal use. Share them everywhere. We only ask that you credit us when you do. A tag goes a long way and we appreciate every one.
Our Epic Founders package includes a keepsake photo box, 30 5x7 fine art prints, and a handcrafted heirloom album. For other packages, your online gallery makes it easy to order prints directly. Do not let your wedding photos live only on a hard drive.
