Some love stories start early and simply take their time getting where they are going. Lauren and Adam first met in high school, long before either knew where life would take them. Adam likes to say he played the long game to win her over, and looking at them now, it is safe to say they both won. Life eventually took them down to Key West, where Lauren worked as a nurse and Adam as a marine biologist. However, life has a funny way of coming full circle. Lauren’s parents live in the neighborhood right next to ours, and since the wedding, the newlyweds have officially moved back up to Parrish, Florida, close to the family and friends who watched their story begin.

All day wedding photography coverage allowed us to document every single part of their story without rushing. Because our team was there from the absolute beginning of the morning until the moment the newlyweds rode the trolley away at the end of the night, we did not miss a single beat.

The morning preparations set a relaxed, energetic tone for the rest of the day. Adam and the guys got ready onsite at Bakers Ranch, where a lot of fun was had as they utilized both the bridal suite and the groom cave for some hilarious photo ops. Meanwhile, Lauren prepared at her parents’ home just down the road in Parrish. Because our wedding photography team utilizes two lead photographers, we were able to capture both morning preparations simultaneously. This dual coverage ensured we did not miss a single moment of anticipation or laughter from either side, keeping the morning relaxed and seamlessly documented.

Their traditional Catholic wedding ceremony took place at St. Frances X Cabrini Church in Parrish. Because this was a new church venue for our team, we attended the wedding rehearsal ahead of time. Every church has unique photography and videography restrictions, and preparing in advance ensures we respect the sacred sanctuary space while still capturing every moment.

Attending the rehearsal also helped us navigate a timeline shift. Church ceremonies often start earlier in the day than typical Bakers Ranch wedding timelines, which usually host ceremonies around 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM. Being fully prepared for this earlier start meant the entire day felt smooth, spacious, and unhurried.

An Enchanted Forest Wedding Reception at Bakers Ranch

A vibrant Bakers Ranch wedding reception followed the ceremony, where everyone headed over for an evening full of family, friends, and celebration. As frequent and preferred Bakers Ranch wedding photographers, we know this venue inside and out. We know exactly how the light moves through the property as afternoon turns to golden hour, allowing us to maximize the venue’s stunning backdrops.

Because of the earlier church ceremony, we had an extended window for formal portraits. This extra time allowed us to produce some of our absolute favorite wedding photos in the deep woods of Bakers Ranch to date, utilizing the natural forest canopy and hanging Spanish moss for a true Florida oasis feel.

Ohio State Buckeyes Celebration and Florida Wedding Vendors

The reception also featured a nod to Adam’s roots. As a diehard Ohio State Buckeyes fan, it felt like destiny that there is an actual Buckeyes Road right down the way in Parrish. Enthusiastic Ohio chants broke out multiple times on the dance floor, adding an energetic, personal touch to the celebration.

Reflecting on the day, Adam perfectly summed up the magic of the celebration, writing afterward that he got to marry a princess. That beautiful sentiment says everything you need to know about how he sees Lauren, then, now, and forever.
